‘First Saturdays for Families’ at New Museum

For art lovers of every age, New Museum on Bowery in NYC offers families free admission on every first Saturday of the month.
On exhibit in September, “Ostalgia’ – a work collective of Eastern European artists spanning 20 countries that examines the notion of reminiscence for life prior to the fall of Communism.
After a walk through the show, families are invited to work on an interactive project creatively examining the notions of longing and memory as seen in the exhibit.
* In September, ‘First Saturdays for Families’ will take place on the second Saturday of the month due to Labor Day.
